Comprehensive Exam and Treatment Planning

While we take time to get to know patients personally to create a custom treatment plan, each patient receives a solid foundation of preventive dental care. In addition to thorough at-home hygiene, twice a year dental checkup and teeth cleanings are the best way to keep patients’ smiles healthy. Each six-month dental checkup at our office begins with the collection of diagnostic x-rays and photographs that will be used to review oral health concerns and plan for ongoing dental care.

Next, our skilled dentist will carefully examine patients’ smiles looking for signs of common oral health concerns including tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. One of our hygienists systematically cleans plaque and tartar buildup from teeth and offers recommendations for changes in at-home hygiene to improve oral health. Finally, each patient sits down one on one with the doctor to review the findings of their examination and partner to create a plan for ongoing oral health care.
